About - Real Requirements
Founded in 2016, RealReq LLC was established to create tools to help commercial real estate brokers more efficiently find the right commercial real estate space for their clients and to better market their listings.
The tools were developed by a veteran commercial real estate broker who became frustrated with the typical CRM tools and web based major listing sites who charge exorbitant monthly fees. He wanted a simplified approach to help his team communicate internally with customer requirements and opportunities while being able to get those out to the brokerage community in a simple format.
Out of this frustration, the requirement driven POST, SEARCH and CONNECT tool was born, RealReq. RealReq is a simplified approach, which allows commercial real estate brokers with client requirements to connect with brokers marketing properties which match those requirements.
RealReq teamed with Structure, a business process technology consulting group headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, to build the solution. Structure was founded by Mark McComb with over 30 years of business experience and 25 years of experience creating technology solutions in the Houston area. The Structure team developed the first Minimum Viable Product.
The team also added Steve Watts, a veteran engineer of over 40 years, to bolster its technical credentials. Steve has since redeveloped the product into its latest form.
RealReq LLC was formed with the intent of delivering practical, yet innovative, marketing solutions to the commercial real estate industry at an affordable price.
Eric is the founder of Centermark CRE and specializes in the leasing, sales and development of Industrial, Office and Land with over 26 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage. Eric has been involved in hundreds of commercial lease and sale transactions over the past two decades with aggregate transaction value in excess of $250 million. Having been responsible for over $20,000,000 in Industrial and Office development, He is well-versed in the financial structure of commercial development, financing, leasing and sales. Eric is a graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a major in real estate.
Eric’s background and experience enable RealReq to recognize what the real estate professional wants out of its marketing tools and what is missing in current offerings.
Mark McComb is a proven leader demonstrating integrity, strong business ethics, and the energy to influence and build responsive, competitive teams that focus on continuous improvement. It was this energy that gave him the idea for Structure. Mark’s thirty years of business experience has given him extensive knowledge of multiple aspects of business.
After growing up in Pearland, Texas, Mark was educated at The University of Houston. He has lived with his wife and two children in Sienna Plantation for thirteen years. Mark enjoys spending his free time involved in community sports and activities. He is very passionate about his work and helping others reach their business goals.
Steve retired from Texas Instruments in 2009 after a diverse and successful 30 year career. His primary area of expertise centered around operational processes, test engineering and management. He possesses a BSEE, Computer Engineering Option (earned in 1982 before Computer Engineering was a "thing") from the University of Houston, and an Executive MBA from Southern Methodist University. Steve also graduated from TI's Manufacturing Leadership Development Program. Starting in 2007, and since retiring, Steve has enjoyed his growing family, some travel, genealogy, lots of exercise, reading, and collaborating with family members on various projects in the family business - Watts Lab, Inc. In those years, he’s established his expertise in web development and reestablished himself as a skilled software developer. Steve is concentrating his efforts today developing technology solutions for the Commercial Real Estate industry and for Genealogy.
